Louise has a strong heritage of musicianship and teaching in both her parents and grandparents. A classically trained and contemporary musician, taught by her beloved mum, Joyce and later by Georgina Zellen-Smith.

"Mums Studio" has been dedicated to teaching music to North Shore students for 38 years! Named after my beloved mum, Joyce, who taught hundreds of students including myself, here. This studio resounds with fond memories and positive experiences. My dad Keith, was a school music teacher and connoisseur of fine pianos and we have had 50 pianos come and go through the doors of this studio!  However,  there are two that we couldn't let go of - a gorgeous Steinway grand (model O) and Richard Lipp upright remain! You will enjoy learning in this peaceful and relaxed studio. There is off-street parking and a waiting room available. Also you will find us close to all amenities,  including main bus stops, shopping and family beach!
